Annecy at NightPosted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 7 May 2008 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. Following on from Monday's photo, this is another one from the beautiful French alpine town of Annecy. It shows some late night tourists admiring the 12th century Palais de l'Isle. For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo. Links to the websites of other photographers whose work I love and who have all helped me enormously over a long period of time. I find the work of all 3 to be inspirational.

Marhilde from Geraardsbergen, BelgiumVery attractive ! The silhouettes of the people are of additional value !! 7 May 2008 8:03pm Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesA beautiful place at night! I like the depth of color and detail in this night shot. 8 May 2008 1:07am amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaFantastic atmosphere, Ian! You're such a master with these night scenes. It's a little anonymous with the people having their backs to the camera but invites us closer into the whole... ambiance, if you will, of the whole image. Magic! 8 May 2008 2:07am Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaOnce again your night shots make me jealous. Wonderful. 8 May 2008 4:27am Nataly from Santa Monica, United StatesVery nice night shot, Ian! I like the cool tones you`ve chosen for this image. Usually photos or films shot in France have rich and bright look and tones. Though you have chosen rather "northern" look for it which in my opinion creates a better atmosphere and takes us back in time.... 8 May 2008 5:52pm drphoto from Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomThe inclusion of the two silhouetted tourists really makes this shot.
