AWESOME! Love every pixel of it. May I ask, did you touch up the sky? I like it`s texture a lot.
The statue is very impressive.

@Nataly: Thanks Nataly!......The original colour photo was a 'Raw' file and was converted in a very straightforward way using Photoshop CS3's B&W converter. It was processed about a month ago so I can't remember if I did anything specific to the sky but I don't think so.

This is an excellent composition! I really thought it was a still image from the movie The Day the Earth Stood Still. I'm amazed!
