Southport Pier in Winter about an hour before sunset.
I'm trying to catch up after the weekend and I'd just like to thank all of you for commenting on my recent photos. The response to that first nightime car shot '8 Seconds in Time' was overwhelming and I doubt that I'm going to get the chance to give you all individual replies. It was a big thrill appearing on the Aminus3 front page.

@Ron: Thanks Ron....I got lots of amazing photos on that day at Southport visiting the beach and Pier. I was very lucky with the light!
Bright sun from the front yet you get the picture well exposed and no silhouette areas, thats why i love this picture, and the shadow, adds more flavour.

You deserve the spotlight at least twice a week, but that wouldn't be fair to others lol this photo has 'panache' and has something that keeps you looking at it...I love that in a photo :)

@Lorraine: Hi Lorraine.....as ever, you're very kind.
It was a great honour to be on the front page again.
In the last few weeks I've made a decision to try and make a serious effort to get one of my photos published so i've been sending some of the better ones to various photo magazines etc.....we'll see how long it takes, ha ha :-)
(PS - notice I said 'when', not 'if'.....I always was an optimist at heart!)
