Figures on the Beach

I just had to take a photo of these people walking on the beach in the winter sunshine in Southport....they look so small on that vast expanse of sand at low tide.

another super landscape...love these ian...and winter beaches are the best if it ain't blowin' too hard and it's not frigid...i used to love roaming the beaches of Cape Cod in winter...once went up there from NY for a Thanksgiving weekend...it was so mild, just heaven to stroll the beaches when it's like that...

Hi Ian, you have some incredibly fine images in your portfolio, including this one... the colours are superb! In this image, the shadow in the bottom seems a bit odd (to me anyway!)

This is a masterwork. You seem to have total control of the light and exposure here. It's a great beachscape/skyscape.

Wonderful tiny silhouettes of the people on the beach! The whole scene is gorgeous and sky magnificent! I love the PP too! :-) Sorry for the later post - I had a bit of a technical hitch earlier!

Ooooofff!! Spectacular vista!! That sky meets the horizon in a perfect way... and the 3 figures on the beach just add an amazing scale.
