There's a photo that I've posted here of a streetlamp and steps at night. It's one of my favourite photos with my new DSLR. I've submitted it for publication in JPG magazine. You can vote for it's inclusion if you can manage to get through the registration process . This blog has been 'nominated' for the 2008 Photoblogawards. If you like it, please take a moment and vote for it here :Photoblogawards. For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo. Links to the websites of other photographers whose work I love and who have all helped me enormously over a long period of time. I find the work of all 3 to be inspirational.

Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaAnother excellent image in color, detail and light. 9 Feb 2008 8:38am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaExtraordinary, I can feel this photo, full of passion and dreams...the mood is perfect! 9 Feb 2008 11:44am GJC from Kyoto, JapanAs usual, you have a fine eye for color. Comparing this with yesterday's, I think I like yesterday's just a little better because I think the composition was stronger. It's all so subjective, of course, but it had a "tighter" feel to it than this one, which seems just a little loose. And I don't know how I feel about that area of dryer sand (?) at the very foreground -- would the image be better if it were cropped? 9 Feb 2008 2:04pm Helma from Tehran, Iranwow ! ... wonderful photo . very nice colors and good composition . thank you. 9 Feb 2008 2:04pm Brittney from California, United StatesThis is a amazing...the timing and the lighting in this shot is great. 9 Feb 2008 4:20pm pedro alexandre from loures, Portugala greater f would be nice, you lost some details on the boats, the sky is stunning, the tones are beautifull. 11 Feb 2008 11:50pm amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaIt is beautiful... that sky again is incredible!
