Albert Dock, Liverpool - Self Portrait!Posted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 2 January 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio. Managed to get my shadow on the bow of the red boat despite the long exposure time! Seventh photo in a series of night shots from Liverpools historic Albert Dock on the banks of the River Mersey. The Albert Dock is an amazing group of Victorian warehouses dating from the mid 19th Century - it was very innovative at the time when it was it built, being the first fireproof warehouse in the world. I'm travelling over the Christmas holiday period and will be away from an internet connection for a while so won't be able to return comments, although there's afew more days of photos pre-loaded.....I'll catch up with you all after the break but wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year! . If you like this photoblog you can vote for it here Photoblogawards, here VFXY Photos or here CoolPhotoblogs For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo.
