Albert Dock, Liverpool - photo #4

Posted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 30 December 2007 in Architecture and Portfolio.

This is a colour version of yesterday's photo.

Fourth photo in a series of night shots from Liverpools historic Albert Dock on the banks of the River Mersey.

The Albert Dock is an amazing group of Victorian warehouses dating from the mid 19th Century - it was very innovative at the time when it was it built, being the first fireproof warehouse in the world.

I'm travelling over the Christmas holiday period and will be away from an internet connection for a while so won't be able to return comments, although there's afew more days of photos pre-loaded.....I'll catch up with you all after the break but wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year!
