This is a photo from a couple of weeks ago of the cooling towers at Drax Power Station in Yorkshire, England.
It's inspired by the work of the famous English Photographer Michael Kenna and the series of images that he took of Ratcliffe Power Station between 1984 and 2003 : Michael Kenna

@Michael Rawluk: Thanks very much Michael - I originally cropped this completely differently but altered it after having a closer look at Micheal Kenna's versions of cooling towers (see link above). I have to say it was an eye opener....I thought I was okay on composition but I learned so much from re-composing this one in his style!
@Pouhou: Cheers Pouhou - thanks vey much!
@Lorraine: Hi Lorraine - I'm afraid this photo is heavily derivative of Michael Kenna's work although I learnt a huge amount about compositional strength in processing this shot in an imitation of his style......tomorrow's photo is all me though. I hope you like it!
@Momo: Thanks Morris, I learnt so much about composition from trying to crop this in imitation of Michael Kenna's work!
@the4thversion: Thanks very much!
@Will: Thanks very much Will :-)
