A photo taken recently of the glass lift and stair in the new extension to the Manchester Art Gallery.
I thought it was the best piece of modern sculpture in the building - the bonus in it not being an exhibit was that I was free to walk up and down it and see it from different perspectives!

You have a good eye for lines. I guess that is the Architect coming out. A very difficult subject well handled. I like the inclusion of the sign.

I'm not a big fan of modern architecture, but I really like this! it looks so open and inviting, and full of light. Now if the art gallery at Walsall West Mids looked like this it would be fabulous!
