Eric Morecambe

A photo from a few months ago of the statue of the greatly loved English comedian Eric Morecambe.

This statue is right on the seafront in his home town of Morecambe and I hope that you can see some of the lovely seaside quality to the light in this photo.

You'll never guess what song is stuck in my head now, after seeing this one! LOL :D

It brings back a lot of happy childhood memories, watching the show, with my mam, dad and brother at christmas. Eric was a really funny man, and I still love seeing the old shows after all these years.
Thanks for the memories, you've brought back with this wonderful capture :)

Ps - around the plinth they have carved words to the song and some of his well known quotes :-
