Loving MemoriesPosted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 13 July 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. This photo is typical of the loving reactions that can be seen to the statue and memory of the UK's most loved comedian - Eric Morecambe. The statue is only a few metres from Morecambe Bay and I hope that you can see some of the seaside quality to the light in this shot. For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo. Links to the websites of other photographers whose work I love and who have all helped me enormously over a long period of time. I find the work of all 3 to be inspirational.

Gilles Daigneault from Granby, Québec, Canada:-) 25 Jul 2007 5:26am @Gilles Daigneault: Thanks Gilles! - I've got another one of this statue that came out just as well but which I left in colour because I liked the seaside light. Maybe I'll post that one as well soon. PS - he was a great comedian and a lovely gentle man. The reaction you can see on the photo is genuine - I could have taken dozens of similar photos to this with different people next to the statue.
